AskDUB | Our AI led Passenger Application for Dublin Airport

PRESS RELEASE

We are excited to share the work we have completed with Dublin Airport, to help trial new technology to drive passenger experience & digital transformation. With a passenger count of 31.5m in 2018, flying to and from 44 countries across 4 continents, Dublin Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in Europe.

In collaboration with The Future Factory, Dublin Airport’s Innovation and Business Development functions, AtomX Digital rolled out a passenger application which captures customer needs across a variety of airport utilities and facilities. The objective is to derive analytics and capture interaction behaviour, in order to inform future digital information solutions.

The project was delivered during the Christmas and New Year’s period, which is the busiest time for the airport and was an immediate success with the travelers, resulting in a significant uptake within the first week itself!

“At The Future Factory we believe in thinking big, defying norms and imagining what the Airport of the future could be. We view ourselves through the lens of a city, which is an ecosystem that nurtures an ever growing passenger count, airlines, retailers and utilities such as bussing, hotels and car parks.”, says Aoife Doherty, Future Factory’s Innovation Project Manager.

“We really enjoyed working with AtomX on this trial. They delivered a truly customer focused application, which has provided our passengers with an easy, clear and intuitive way to find the information they need, when they need it. I am very impressed with the quality of staff at AtomX and the output delivered. They were great to work with and delivered an excellent solution within a short time frame.”, Aoife added.

Anant Saxena, AtomX’s CEO mentioned “Its been a wonderful experience interacting with the whole Future Factory team. We see Dublin Airport as our strategic client and look forward to a continuing relationship.”
